Restaurant Guide - Animal Kingdom

search other parks
Caravan Road:
Breakfast: This restaurant does not serve breakfast.
Snack: This quick service location only offers a Teriyaki Beef Slider and Edamame; not my top choices in Animal Kingdom, but still better than some other theme park locations!

Dino Diner:
Breakfast: This restaurant does not serve breakfast.
Snack: Steer clear of this location unless nachos and churros are on your cheat meal list!

Eight Spoon Cafe:
Breakfast: This restaurant does not serve breakfast.
Snack: Again, unless you want a cheat meal (in this case, mac and cheese), steer clear of this quick service location.

Flame Tree Barbecue:
Breakfast: This restaurant does not serve breakfast.
Lunch: Since this is a quick service spot, you can order off the kids menu, in which case my top choice would be the Chicken Sandwich. My adult menu picks would the be Mixed Greens Salad with Roasted Chicken, Watermelon Salad, or ½ Chicken (just be careful of the marinade and potentially the coleslaw).
Dinner: Menu offerings are same as lunch.

Harambe Market:
Breakfast: This restaurant does not serve breakfast.
Lunch: I’d go with the Grilled Chicken Skewer or Roasted Vegetables - both are really good! You can also opt for the kid’s Grilled Barbecue Chicken Skewer - it’s on the Disney Check menu.
Dinner: Menu offerings are same as lunch.

Kusafiri Coffee Shop and Bakery:
Breakfast: Here you can get a fresh fruit cup and some Dannon Greek yogurt!
Snack: They have a Smoked Turkey Sandwich on their panini menu - the only red flag I get with it is potentially the bacon depending on how much the chef puts on the sandwich, but I wouldn’t sweat it too much if you picked this option for lunch.

Nomad Lounge:
Breakfast: This restaurant does not serve breakfast.
Lounge: My picks would be the Chicken Satay or Vegetarian Pad Thai - just be cautious of how much peanut sauce is on there or ask for it on the side!

Pizzafari:
Breakfast: This restaurant does not serve breakfast.
Lunch: I’d go for the Shrimp Flatbread, Vegetable Pizza if you really wanted pizza, or Caesar Salad with or without chicken.
Dinner: Menu offerings are same as lunch.

Rainforest Cafe:
Breakfast: Can’t go wrong with an Egg White Omelette!
Lunch: If you want salad, I’d go with the Paradise House Salad, the China Island Chicken Salad, or the Kale & Red Quinoa Salad with or without chicken. For something other than salad, I’d pick the Jungle Turkey Wrap with dressing on the side,
Dinner: Menu offerings are same as lunch.

Restaurantosaurus:
Breakfast: This restaurant does not serve breakfast.
Lunch: My choice would be off the kid’s Disney check menu - the Turkey Wrap! If going for a regular entree, I’d go for the Grilled Chicken BLT (I personally would take the bacon off, but your call!) or the Mixed Green Salad with Roaster Chicken.
Dinner: Menu offerings are same as lunch.

Satu’li Canteen:
Fun fact: This restaurant is my favorite for clean eating without worrying about it! The food is delicious and filling and I think you’ll love it as much as I do!
Breakfast: This restaurant does not serve breakfast.
Lunch: You get to build your own bowls! For the bases, I’d go with the Chopped Wood Grilled Chicken or Sustainable Fish. Your base options are rice and grains or a salad - both good options. I usually opt for no sauce and it’s plenty flavorful without! You can also get a smaller portion size (while still being plenty filling) on the kid’s menu.
Dinner: Menu offerings are same as lunch.

The Smiling Crocodile:
Breakfast: This restaurant does not serve breakfast.
Snack: If you’re really craving BLTs, you can get an open-faced Turkey BLT here! But that and another BLT are all they have.

Tiffins:
Breakfast: This restaurant does not serve breakfast.
Lunch: The Autumn Vegetable Harvest sounds delicious and like your healthiest option. Otherwise, enjoy a really nice cheat meal!
Dinner: Menu offerings are same as lunch.

Tusker House Restaurant:
Fun fact: this is one of my favorite buffets and character dining options on property! The food is delicious!
Breakfast: Plenty of scrambled eggs and fruit to go around at this buffet! There are also plenty of options to get some protein in, too.
Lunch: For the lunch buffet, you have tons of options with chicken, fish, veggies, rice, and fruit. They use some middle eastern and African spices and it’s delicious!
Dinner: Menu offerings are same as lunch.

Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafes:
Breakfast: They come with a side of less healthy hash brown bites, but the Egg White English Muffin would be my choice! You can also get fruit salad.
Lunch: I’d go with the Asian Chicken Wrap or Ginger Chicken Salad.
Dinner: Menu offerings are same as lunch.

Yak & Yeti Quality Beverages:
Breakfast: This restaurant does not serve breakfast.
Lounge: The Asian Chicken Sandwich and Ginger Chicken Salad are your only options besides a Turkey Leg, but those two aren’t too bad!

Yak & Yeti Restaurant:
Fun fact: If we’re being honest, I was pretty disappointed in Yak & Yeti! The food was no better than the quick service options (if not worse), but much more expensive. Plenty of people love it here so maybe we just caught a bad day.
Breakfast: This restaurant does not serve breakfast.
Lunch: The Lettuce Cups are for two, so great to share and a healthier choice. There are a few salad options - a Kale Caesar Salad with options of Cilantro-Lime Grilled Chicken or Cilantro-Lime Seared Shrimp - or a Seared Tuna Salad. You can also get Chicken Tikka Masala, Seared Miso Salmon, or from the grill there’s the Teriyaki Chicken or Chef’s Fresh Catch.
Dinner: Menu offerings are same as lunch.
